Brief:  An existing water mill based in York was to have a large timber framed extension and external seating area. Due to the location on the riverbank, planning stipulated that there was a requirement of a ‘flood tank’.

Working with George Banks Ltd. A design was completed for a reinforced concrete piled raft slab to the proposed extension and a reinforced concrete piled raft slab and retaining wall sides to the flood tanks.
