After 19 successful years since being established in 2005 the practice was taken over by the current Directors – Carl Devenish BSc & Darren Ford MEng – with a combined experience of 30 years. The practice is a close knit team of qualified Senior and Graduate Engineers with the support of administrative staff forming the multi-disciplined team of experts. This knowledge and experience allows us to offer a wide range of expertise and advice on many types of projects.

We undertake a wide variety of work, including new build schemes and renovation/restoration projects as well as feasibility schemes. We work closely with Architects to achieve aesthetically impressive engineering solutions but also have an innovative approach to design solutions whilst being conscious of cost implications. Our innovative approach to design solutions stood us in good stead when solving design challenges on England’s first passive house and for Stirly Farm Sustainable Barn Conversion which won the regional ‘Construction Excellence in Yorkshire & Humber Legacy Award – Sustainability 2014 Award Winning Team’.

We excel at producing highly detailed drawings which give Builders a clear insight into how structure integrates into the build process. This leads to a more efficient build and no second guessing by the builder which could lead to costly corrections.

We offer in house design to latest British Standards and European Codes of Practice for schemes ranging from domestic alterations to multi million pound new builds.
